Wasn’t waterproof
I bought the boots 3 weeks ago at boot barn. Left out of town for work, I put them on and the next day I noticed air bubbles coming from the stitching to the sole. Comfortable boot just wish they were waterproof as advertised for the price I paid.

Heavy Boot
I wanted a good solid work boot, I got that. They fit well and are tough, strong boots....but my feet hurt. Not sure if it's the heavy weight, but my feet THROB for days after. I'm 50-50 on these boots. Great tough boots, hurt my feet. I like them, but I will be buying a different pair of boots next payday. I will still use them, as they are great boots, but I can't LIVE in these.

These boots are a beast!!
Bought these boots and I thought I was in a Mad Max Movie, big and heavy! Highly recommend that you wear over the calf socks, otherwise you will tear up your shin...Lesson learned! When I wear them, I feel like I'm ready to conquer whatever task they give me with a beer in hand! I had these boots for almost two years and they are still as tuff as ever! Feels like I'm just breaking them in, not a stitch damage! For $ 300, they better last long!!

Very comfortable boot, hard to break in though, I already gone through 2 pairs in 2 years. First pair came out defective ripped from the heel before the year, luckily under manufacture warranty Ariat replaced them which was awesome. Second pair the handle to get the boot on ripped couple of days after the year, which now I'm out of luck of the manufacture warranty. Now I'm debating on buying my third set I'm just getting 1 year of use off of them, if I can find a way to get them on without struggling I will be very happy because they still look new I work in the office and go out to the field for about 3-4 hours a day, week days only.

Will take the abuse.
I'll admit, they did take a little while for me to adjust to the somewhat bulkiness of the boot. -oddly enough, they aren't that heavy. First day out and they ate the hide off my shins. My fault. No problem, a few pairs of over-the-calf socks fixed that issue. I'm going on 2 years wearing these boots. I usually have 2 pair of boots for winter and summer. This pair does the job for both. I do a lot of walking and standing on asphalt, rough terrain and a lot of mud and water. They're comfy, they always stay dry, and in the wintertime they're a lot warmer than you'd think. Next pair I get will be a half size smaller. They seem to run a tad big. One other thing, get a boot dryer and use it daily. You'll thank me later.

The only boot to wear
I got these a year ago and through welding, chemicals, saltwater, refinery’s, manufacturing plants they didn’t even break a sweat. And still In perfect condition minus some footwear from walking etc. will probably never wear a different kind of boot ever again. A little stiff but once broken in the most comfortable pair of boots you will ever wear

Bought these at New Years. I do work construction and turn arounds. Very comfortable. But have been working underground pipe for about 4 months and have leaked since day one. Even returned them to the store I got them from and swapped them out second pair still leaks. I don’t think I’ll get this pair again after I wear them out but will still get Arita brand I do love theirs boots.

Expensive mistake
I'm a pipeliner and I destroy a set of boots about every 6 months. I got extremely excited when I saw these boots. They looked really durable and held on to my foot nicely at fitting and felt good. I bought them 3 weeks ago and couldn't be more unhappy. I'll give any boot a week or 2 to break in, but after 3 weeks my feet are DESTROYED after wearing them all day. I cant wait to get these nightmares off my feet at the end of the day!! They are heavy and make my feet sweat in 40 degree weather. Worst of all the front seam at the top has rubbed sores on my shins through my socks! Also I've never worn an extra wide in any boot. They felt fine during fitting, and aren't tight. But after wearing all day long the composite toe rubs on the outside of my big toe and is so painful!! It's like the boot is too straight and not curved like a boot should be. Also I've never had arch pain in my feet, but after wearing these my arches are even on fire. I can't exactly return a used boot, so ive made a $300 mistake. They seem really durable, but quite obviously weren't made to fit my feet. Maybe I got a pair with something terribly wrong with them, but please think twice before buying these boots! Maybe ariat can make it right. If they do I'll gladly post it.
