Ariat Men's WorkHog Aged Bark Brown and Black Waterproof Square Steel Toe Work Boot

My grandson. Requested these work boots for his Christmas gift. They are very well made and fit perfectly. He was very pleased!

I went for these because I needed a new pair of boots for my job. I wore them at home for a weekend to break them in before work on Monday and was super impressed. They are super comfortable on the concrete floors at work, and work decent for riding boots if I have them at home.

Comfortable boot. Broke in after the first couple days of wearing them. So far the no issues with water, seem to be waterproof like claimed.

Bought this boot for some light work and expected to get a year or two out of it. Did not even last 5 months of use. Within a few the sole was starting to come off in chunks as well as deterioration of the leather. The stock insoles were also god awful and hurt my feet for extended periods of time. Ariat should be ashamed about some of their products which is a shame because I like the look of their other products but I wouldn't want to risk spending the money again. Until they make things right or improve stay away.

I love Ariat boots. My Ramblers have been my yard work boots for over 4 years and although they are on their last leg, they have been through alot and maintained until they will die of natural causes. These Workhogs are a different story. I work in construction so I need a tough boot and these things felt like tanks, so I bought them. They were very uncomfortable for a long time but after a month or so they weren't comfortable per se, but at least I wasn't thinking about how uncomfortable they were. Then I noticed that pieces of the sole were chipping away around the edges. These things were over $200 and I am not even 2 months into wearing them and pieces of the sole are breaking off almost like the rubber is too brittle or something. See photos. I cannot say that I recommend these boots for the price point.

Highly recommend. I’m currently on my 6th pair of these boots. Usually try to buy from a local vendor. However since COVID it’s been a nightmare for them to get anything back in stock. I go through 1 pair in roughly 6 months. I love them. Wish they’d last longer. I even buy the replacement insoles around month 3-4. Still feels like they are brand new at that point. But usually month 6-8 the insides are to far gone and the bottom rubber starts to crack and break off to much. Please keep in mind I wear these daily if I’m at work or not.

I'm a furniture mover that works throughout the Los Angeles area. I'm in and out of houses, precarious terrain up and down hill for up to 14 hour days sometimes, rain or shine. These are working FANTASTIC for me. Light enough for the endless stairs, tough enough to withstand jumping in and out of trucks/ drops of heavy items. I even wear them just to stroll around town. Waterproof and non tracking for clients carpets and my feet have never been more protected AND I've experienced no back/foot pain to speak of. Durable with little to no signs of wear so far. Get some steel toe socks along with them and you're in business. Highly recommend.

Bought these about a month ago after my cheapo boots started letting water in.
Awesome look, very comfortable after break in, easy to take off without a boot jack.
Very comfortable working 12 hours a day, groundskeeper, animal caretaker and handyman tasks. Soak these daily, and they don’t let water in yet (1 month of daily use

My son is VERY hard on his boots. His last pair held up for three years. I was quite impressed so we ordered him a new pair of the exact same ones this year. Excellent product. Quick shipping. We will definitely be purchasing from Ariat again in the future.

I owned a pair previously and they lasted for over 6years cutting grass and doing landscaping

I've had these for a few weeks now. After walking 200 yards through 8 inches of water, then across a wet clay field my feet are still dry for the rest of the work day. Best boots I've ever had. Very satisfied Lineman.

been wearing them 2 weeks and love them. No break in needed fit snug and comfortable on day 1 and still feel the same.

2.5 years now on my 2nd pair, & they just keep performing! I spend at least 12 hours everyday in these, and they’re just as comfortable as they were on day 1. I work on cranes and metal fabrication, and any given day involves climbing 1200 feet of ladders, standing in pools of oil or water, shuffling through rocky jobsites, sand, scorching asphalt, etc & they haven’t disappointed yet. The only reason I’m on my 2nd pair is because of large chunk of slag that burned through the sole of my first pair. I’m fairly confident I can get at least 3 years out of this pair, which is amazing considering the abuse they take.

These are the best boots I have ever owned. I work as a welder/fabricator and am on my feet for ten hours or more a day. When I get home in the evening my feet don’t hurt nor am I just dying to get my boots off. I have wide feet and with other boots I had developed ingrown toenails; but since I started wearing these boots they have gone away.

Great, comfortable out of the box work boot. First time owning this style, and love it almost completely from top to bottom (the top part is a little big around the leg. Nice boots! Would recommend!

I bought this pair in January 2015 and I just bought another pair. They held up better than I imagined and a lot longer too.

Ive had my pair for a little over 2 years, The uppers are still in perfect condition. the soles are wore out. Considering i am a farmer and i wear them all day every day IN Manure,diesel,oil,water, up and down silo's. I'M pretty pleased with them and feel they were worth Every penny! I'M going to order another pair and hopefully they hold up as well as the first pair did!

I purchased this pair of boots over 5 years ago and literally wore them everyday for the entire time of owning them. Held up extremely well for the amount of abuse they took and obviously comfortable enough i never even though about putting anything else on my feet.

I am happy with my purchase. Comfortable boot that I can stand in all day - in the office or in the field. I have been happy with all my Ariat boot purchases over the years.

Boots fit great when I first got them. Very comfortable even after 10+ hours a day. After the first four months the soles started cracking and leaking water. After six months the inside of the boot started to come apart and every time I try to take the boot off it seems like the boot is trying to turn inside out.

i've had these boots for less than a year and they have held up nicely to some extent they have started leaking around the seam but the work that i have put them through it doesn't shock me over all they are really nice at the start but they do loose their water proof after about 6 months of standing in oil and water. but i will buy another pair in the future.

I bought these boots about 2 months ago and they hurt my feet every single day I've worn them, I tried breaking the in and nothing I've lost hope in these boots they are not what they used to be, overpriced garbage boots, not to mention they wore out quick my soles are almost completely done with, never buying ariat boots again.

These boots only lasted about 5 months and started cracking in the sole and leaking,took the back to the store and got them exchanged and same this has happened yet again so I called the company and they said to send them back but I can't go with out steel toes at work so all I can say is ariat is NOT what there made out to be

Ive had these boots for less than a year and the insides have fallen apart, and the soles are cracking. The only plus is they were comfortable for the first few months. Pretty sad considering a pair of walmart boots lasted a year and half.

Boots were great at first, fit was great, very comfortable boot. But after 6 months of daily wear, the inside of the boot started to fall apart, specifically the inside of the heel which is a thin leather/fake leather. My 3rd time trying a pair of Ariat boots, and my 3rd disappointment, they just don't hold up for the long run. Guess that's what you get these days with overseas mass produced boots.

I'm a water hauler for the oilfields so I put theses boots through alot I mean 70+ hours a week plus I wear them outside of work too and well I have been using theses boots for about 6 months now and I'm not pleased. My left boot squeaks when I walk, they are no longer water proof despite the application of the mink oil and now my feet hurt more often now then ever granted maybe if I got a bigger size I wouldn't have that problem but the squeak and the water coming through is a flaw on there part.... When I tried them on they felt good but after a couple months it's taken a turn in the wrong direction... If your not going to put through them to much exposure to the environment all day I guess they might last longer but just saying I'm mostly on my feet climbing ladders and in and out the truck so I'm putting them through allot so I hope this helps I spent the money cause I wanted quality they publish but this time it feel short... I tried adding photos but its taking a very long time so hope this helps

Worn these boots to work every day for over a year, being an auto mechanic and automotive detailer my boots stay wet and get oil and grease on them every day and they still do not leak a drop and are still very comfortable. Also, if I use a little saddle soap and mink oil they shine back up like the day they were new. I've owned a lot of boots and after these, my first pair of Ariats, I would never buy anything else.

I purchased these boots in May 2014. It is now Nov 30, 2014. As an on call year round mechanic, being from the east coast I have owned every type of tie on boot. I moved to Texas where everybody was wearing this style boot at my job. So, when in Rome... I will never buy another boot other than these. These are the Best Boots I've Ever Owned!

I just picked these up today and even without being broken in, these are probably the most comfortable boots I have worn in a long time. I needed a waterproof steel-toe boot for work so I had quite a few options in the store and spent 30 minutes trying on various brands and styles. As soon as I put these on, however, I knew they were the right ones. I haven't put them through the wringer yet, but working in the oil field, it will only be a matter of time.
