BOOT CARE

Take care of your JRC & Sons boots, and they’ll take care of you…for a long time.

Smooth Leathers – calf and goat:

  1. Remove all dirt with a brush or damp cloth.
  2. Apply a leather conditioner with a clean cloth and let dry.
  3. Buff with a horsehair brush.
  4. A neutral wax-based polish can be applied for more luster.
  5. Buff to a shine with a brush or soft cloth.

Suede:

  1. Suede leathers can hold more dirt than smooth leathers.
  2. Use a suede cleaner or suede eraser to remove dirt from the boots.
  3. Use a suede brush to raise the nap.
  4. Never use conditioners or polishes on suede.

Exotic Leathers:

  1. Remove all dirt with a brush or damp cloth.
  2. Apply an exotic leather conditioner with a clean cloth and let dry.
  3. Buff with a horsehair brush.
  4. A neutral wax-based polish can be applied for more luster.
  5. Buff to a shine with a brush or soft cloth.
