Rocky Alpha Force boots are tough work boots built to meet the job at hand. These lightweight, strong fabrics hold up even in the most extreme working conditions. These duty boots have been built with Rocky Waterproof construction; this creates a barrier that is guaranteed to keep water out, so your feet will remain completely dry. The Air-Port™ footbed is made from polyurethane and absorbs shock, but always reverts back to its earliest shape. Very comfy. Durable.
Purchased my pair 4 months ago and worn almost daily. Have worn them working in welding shop and various construction sites. To my surprise they're holding up very well. Lower material covering toe and top of foot is real and decent grade leather, whereas most other similar boots are mostly synthetic throughout the entire shoe. My boots have taken a beating and scuffed and cut and still holding up good. Zipper has large teeth and slides easy even a bind. For the price this is the best direct attached, glued-on sole work boot I've tried to date. I did snag the toe a few times on the job and the rubber pulled loose a tad from the leather but a dab of good contact cement and it's good as new. Very comfy boots but you might try a size larger than you'd normally wear.

Update from last posting as ACOAsh
I gave this a good review based on my original pair and the month that I had worn the new set. I purchased my boots in December and now in February the toe seams on both boots have started to peel away. I am no more rough on this pair than I was the last, and those lasted me three years. My toes also scuffed up way faster. It’s very disappointing to have my two month old boots look like my old pair.

Comfortable, dry, warm
Ive worn mine for 3 years on my second pair and they are the best by far for comfort and bad weather I’ve been in downpours and snow stuck in a highway for hours and my feet are dry my feet also don’t hurt at the end of the day . After wearing them for about a week they mold tour your foot well and get better over time .

Tears holes in your heal.
Hard plastic "Foxing" backing wears the fabric and then eats through the back of your foot. 1/10 Will hurt you to wear them.

Definitely not waterproof
I purchased this model a couple of months ago. I usually stay away from "waterproof", because, as every operator knows, when the water DOES get in,it's more difficult to get out. I hadn't done anything particularly damp, but ,while washing some buses, a week ago, I started feeling the water coming through the base of my left boot, then later, the right. The fit was nice for dry work and the long-day-comfort, but very disappointed in the "weather worthiness" of this product.

comfortable but have issues
bought in Jan. 2021, have had for 9 months. These were very comfortable and I've had many Rocky boots over the years, but kinda disappointed in these. Within the first month the laces started to fray. This week, the inner liner at the heel has ripped out, and it makes it very difficult to get the boot off as the loose cloth catches on the top of my heel. Also the laces have frayed to where the should be replaced. The bad part is the rest of the boot is in great shape, but I'm going to have to replace them. Not sure I would buy another pair, as I should be able to get more that 9 months out of a pair of boots that cost $120.

Comfortable, light, dependable
I voluntarily hiked Old Rag in Shenandoah National Park in these bad boys, and they were superb on the terrain and the rock scrambles. Great grip and comfortable the whole time.

Also accidentally walked the Richmond half marathon in them supporting a family member. It started as a "we'll walk the first mile with you for support" and ended up being a 13.1 mile conversation.

Still own/wear the same pair that did both events.

Bottom Line: only boots I'll own anymore.

Poor quality
I've had these boots. MAYBE Six months. Blew both zippers out half way up. Sole has detached from bottom of boot. Laces frayed and had to buy new ones. Hard compsit in heel shattered and stabs heel. Had a pair before these lasted me for two years! Not these. Rocky quality has decreased CLEARLY. WILL NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER PAIR!

The boots were to small.
I ordered the boots in March and it took over two months to receive the boots. Then the boots were to small.
