These hard-wearing Rocky® Alpha Force Waterproof Duty Black Boots are made with black full-grain leather and 1000-denier nylon fabric. Rocky Alpha Force boots are tough work boots built to meet the job at hand. These lightweight, strong fabrics hold up even in the most extreme working conditions. These duty boots have been built with Rocky Waterproof construction; this creates a barrier that is guaranteed to keep water out, so your feet will remain completely dry. The Air-Port™ footbed is made from polyurethane and absorbs shock, but always reverts back to its earliest shape. The cushion foot bed specifically targets your heel and metatarsal ridge, giving you support and comfort. This boot features a non-marking RigiTrac™ outsole that provides oil and slip resistance. A side zipper makes it easy to get these boots on and off quickly. Whether you're looking for durable black work boots, tactical boots, a great pair of waterproof boots or superior law enforcement boots. These Rocky Alpha Force boots are the right choice to help you get the job done!

Comfortable, light, dependable
I voluntarily hiked Old Rag in Shenandoah National Park in these bad boys, and they were superb on the terrain and the rock scrambles. Great grip and comfortable the whole time.

Also accidentally walked the Richmond half marathon in them supporting a family member. It started as a "we'll walk the first mile with you for support" and ended up being a 13.1 mile conversation.

Still own/wear the same pair that did both events.

Bottom Line: only boots I'll own anymore.

Poor quality
I've had these boots. MAYBE Six months. Blew both zippers out half way up. Sole has detached from bottom of boot. Laces frayed and had to buy new ones. Hard compsit in heel shattered and stabs heel. Had a pair before these lasted me for two years! Not these. Rocky quality has decreased CLEARLY. WILL NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER PAIR!

The boots were to small.
I ordered the boots in March and it took over two months to receive the boots. Then the boots were to small.

Poor quality Chinese boots
These boots are made in china and are of poor construction. Further the sizing is way off compared to the (very few now) USA made Rocky boots/shoes. And, Rocky apparently will not let you return them despite the fact the sizing is wrong on them.

Reliable and Comfortable
I have flat feet and an old injured ankle. These boots were a god-send when I worked patrol and served me well when I joined the crime scene unit in my department. They lasted me 6 years even when I didn't take the best care of them. I have bought different Rocky boots now that I work in auto body/collision repair because I know they are great quality and dependable.

Great boots but not for long term
I've bought two pairs of these boots one pair back in 2016 and one back in 2020
The first pair lasted roughly 2 years in warehouse settings and while being a package driver.
The second pair is barely hanging on 1 year and 3 months by. But I spray pesticides 5 days a week so the left boot had its sole seprate from the shoe around the heel but is still attached without repairs. The inner plastic linings all suffer the same damage seems they only hold up past the 1 year milestone. Just not the boots for me anymore Comfort is great goes great with the Rocky S2V socks. Zippers held up and worked true from day one. The shoe strings would recommend just replacing them they're weak and tear a lot. Great boots if you don't have to pay for them. But if you have to spend your own money do more research then what I did.

Look good!
I bought a pair of these boots less than a year ago and after getting them broke in they have been very comfortable. They really look good, although recently the seam between the laces and sole has come apart.

I bought these 3 months ago and they are absolutely comfortable . they are stiff in the beginning but once I got them wore in I had no complaints about anything. they keep my feet warm as well as letting them breath. I will defiantly buy these again when ready.

Severe Blisters
I bought these boots for everyday wear at work, looking for something a little better than the Bates I had been wearing. After only a very short time, I developed serious blisters on the insides of my heels from where the leather is sewn to the upper. Sent them right back. They looked great, too bad they didn't work out.
