These hard-wearing Rocky® Alpha Force Waterproof Duty Black Boots are made with black full-grain leather and 1000-denier nylon fabric. Rocky Alpha Force boots are tough work boots built to meet the job at hand. These lightweight, strong fabrics hold up even in the most extreme working conditions. These duty boots have been built with Rocky Waterproof construction; this creates a barrier that is guaranteed to keep water out, so your feet will remain completely dry. The Air-Port™ footbed is made from polyurethane and absorbs shock, but always reverts back to its earliest shape. The cushion foot bed specifically targets your heel and metatarsal ridge, giving you support and comfort. This boot features a non-marking RigiTrac™ outsole that provides oil and slip resistance. A side zipper makes it easy to get these boots on and off quickly. Whether you're looking for durable black work boots, tactical boots, a great pair of waterproof boots or superior law enforcement boots. These Rocky Alpha Force boots are the right choice to help you get the job done!

Better when made in China, Now made in D.R.
Stitching blew out around the top of the boot where the calf padding is after 2 weeks, zippers keep catching on inner weather proofing flap, leather brushed off the toe top like fake leather does, even came with cheaper shoe laces. I get cutting out china from our products but if youre gonna increase the price, then quality control needs to improve. Ive owned 5 pairs of these boots before this new pair from Dominican Republic and they all lasted about a year each in hardcore daily contrustion environments as an electrician.. this pair is already failing lest than a month in...

Love these boots
I have owned this boot for 6 years and am currently on my third pair. They take so much abuse and I have put thousands of miles on each pair I have owned. Strongly recommend.

I bought these alfafoce boots 2 years ago, and I'm so happy I did put Boots through a lot. I am a truck driver, so they get a lot of abuse

Defective sole on boots
I recently purchased Rocky Alpha Force 8" waterproof public service boots from authorized dealer. 3 weeks later the entire sole had come off. Tried to return to store for exchange only. After being a victim of identity theft, I always pay in cash. I do not save receipts unless it is a major purchase. Authorized dealer will not exchange. You can look at boots and tell they are still new, no scuff marks and the bottoms have not been worn off. I actually wore the boots for 9 days and sole fell off. I do not want money. I want a good pair of work boots. I will never buy Rocky boots again but will buy Bates tactical boots

Bad inside
Best tread for traction of any boot I’ve owned. The design an composition of the sole are perfect. The rest, waterproofing good, upper is fine, the inside is awful. For a decade I’ve bought two pair a year (for the traction) and they’ve all failed inside at the heal in about six months. Fix is cheap and easy but Rocky doesn’t seem interested. If you need a high traction boot that’ll likely last only a few months these might fit the bill.

Very durable
Great quality and very durable boot. Only issue is my feet sweat on summer days and this boot will not clear the metal detector at my correctional facility!

and feal if you have heal pain or any foot pain this boot makes them go away perfect heal to toe rise just the right amount of ankle support and thickness
now the bad news the finish scratches very easily good thing for shoe polish
now rocky I would love to see these in full grain leather
the biege suede doesn't cut it stains easily and hard to keep cleen

Very comfy. Durable.
Purchased my pair 4 months ago and worn almost daily. Have worn them working in welding shop and various construction sites. To my surprise they're holding up very well. Lower material covering toe and top of foot is real and decent grade leather, whereas most other similar boots are mostly synthetic throughout the entire shoe. My boots have taken a beating and scuffed and cut and still holding up good. Zipper has large teeth and slides easy even a bind. For the price this is the best direct attached, glued-on sole work boot I've tried to date. I did snag the toe a few times on the job and the rubber pulled loose a tad from the leather but a dab of good contact cement and it's good as new. Very comfy boots but you might try a size larger than you'd normally wear.
