Kyan will be joining us from Baldwin City, Kansas as a senior for her fourth year with Team Cavender’s. She competes in barrel racing which is her favorite event because she has been doing it forever and it is her strong suit. Outside of rodeo, she likes to play basketball on her travel team and spend time with family. Kyan is involved with her school softball team, basketball team, Fellowship of Christan Athletes, and Stand Up to Cancer Club. She is a third-generation cowgirl, so she has been around it her whole life!

Kyan is a senior from Clovis, New Mexico who will be joining us for his third year on Team Cavender’s. He competes in tie down roping and says this has always been his favorite event in rodeo. Kyan says, “There is no better feeling than when everything comes together, and you can make a really fast run.” Kyan is a first-generation rodeo athlete. When he was younger, he tried a lot of other organized sports but never felt like he enjoyed any of them. One day he randomly picked up a rope in the shop, started playing around with it, and has not put it down since!

Luke is a tie down roper from Madisonville, Texas who will be joining us for his sixth year on Team Cavender’s. He has been a part of Team Cavender’s since the very beginning and will be a senior this year. He loves to golf and pick up hockey in his free time. When Luke is not at a rodeo he works for Shane Hanchey and an auction company. Luke is a second-generation rodeo athlete and has grown into the sport. Tie down roping is his favorite event because there is never a slow moment. He says, “There’s a million things going on at once and the sport really spots out the good from the great.”

Daniel Wilder

Hometown: Millington, TN

Daniel is an upcoming senior from Millington, Tennessee and will be joining Team Cavender’s for his second year. He competes in steer wrestling, tie down roping, team roping, and reined cow horse. Outside of rodeo, he likes to wakeboard, hunt, and fish. In school he is involved with the National Honors Society and his high school football team. Daniel says, “My favorite event is reined cow horse because everything is about preparation, your horse won’t work to the best of her abilities unless the time was put in to be ready.” He got into rodeo from his grandfather who was always involved in walking horses, but started team roping when he had Daniel’s mom. It rubbed off on her and she started to barrel race, now Daniel and his two sisters all rodeo.

Kinley Lowry

Kinley joins us as a senior from Mount Pleasant, Texas who competes in barrel racing and pole bending. This will be her first year on Team Cavender’s. Kinley is a four-year member of the Chapel Hill Rodeo Team National Honor Society and is the Chapel Hill FFA Chapter Treasurer. She is an active member at her local church, First Baptist Church Mount Pleasant, and loves to spend time with her family and friends. Her favorite event is pole bending because she has been blessed with an amazing horse that will go into the arena and give it her all every time, never letting up until she crosses that timer! This event gets her adrenaline running every time she goes down the alley way, which is why she loves it so much. Kinley got her first horse at the age of ten and everything else is history. After attending her local rodeo every year and loving every minute of it, she knew she belonged down in the dirt! Kinley could not picture her rodeo journey any differently.

Coming from Lufkin, Texas, Mallory is a senior that will be joining us for her first year on Team Cavender’s. She competes in barrel racing and pole bending. In her free time, she is a part time employee at her local Cavender’s, plays softball, and trains young upcoming barrel horses! In school she competes on her softball team and takes dual credit college courses. Mallory has been riding horses since she was four years old, and always wanted to barrel race. She finally got the opportunity to enter TJHRA in seventh grade. Barrel racing has always been her favorite event to compete in. The older she gets she finds herself spending more hours in the practice pen working barrel horses where she continues to grow a love for it.

Dylan is a senior who will be joining us for his first year on Team Cavender’s. He competes in saddle bronc and team roping. Dylan has been around rodeo his whole life, and decided he wanted to try it out. Saddle bronc is his favorite event because it gets his blood pumping! When Dylan is not at a rodeo, you can find him at the lake.

Dillon is a senior from Bennington, Oklahoma and this will be his first year as a Team Cavender’s member. He competes in tie down roping, and it is his favorite event because there are so many components that go into making a good run. He likes the adrenaline rush of doing everything correctly and being fast. Dillion got into rodeo from watching his mom win a lot in breakaway roping back in the day. He is involved with his school’s basketball, baseball, and track teams. In his free time, he enjoys basketball and playing pool.

Abby is a senior who competes in breakaway roping and team roping from Canyon, Texas. This will be her first year on Team Cavender’s. When Abby is not going to a rodeo, she likes to go snow skiing in the winter, and she likes to go to the lake to wake board with her friends and family in the summer. In school Abby plays varsity basketball, track, cross country, and golf. She is also involved in the FCCLA, Student Council, and the Happy Methodist Church. Abby got into rodeo from her dad, he grew up team roping and ranching and has had the kids on the backs of horses since before they could even walk! Her favorite event is breakaway roping because it is the fastest growing women’s sport, and she is proud to be a part of something that is such a large piece of rodeo today.

Brodey Clemons

Brodey is a tie down roper and team roper from Weatherford, Texas, who will be joining us as a senior for his first year on Team Cavender’s. He got into rodeo by learning how to swing a rope at 4 years old, and he has not put it down since! When Brodey is not competing in his favorite event, tie down roping, he enjoys hog hunting in his free time.

Coming from Ponder, Texas this will be Tana’s fourth year with Team Cavender’s. She is going into her junior year and competes in barrel racing and pole bending. Tana’s parents both competed in the sport, so she was raised by it and immediately fell in love with it. In school she is involved with her FFA chapter, plays for the basketball team, and is on the bass fishing team. Outside of school, she enjoys hunting, fishing, taking care of the ranch, and hanging out with friends. Her favorite event is barrels because she has an amazing mare who does her job every single time!

Breakaway is her favorite event because of how fast paced it is and the opportunities it provides for young girls such as herself. Outside of school and rodeo, you can find Harley hunting hogs!

This is Colee’s second year with Team Cavender’s, and she is a junior from Tell, Texas. Colee competes in goat tying, breakaway roping, and reined cow horse. She says, “I have always had a love for being around horses, I was riding by the age of three! However, instead of growing up on a ranch to learn how to ride, I grew up in the show ring. I showed my dad’s best horse Skip, competing in western pleasure, trail, and halter. I enjoyed showing horses, but one day back in 2015 my parents decided to enter me in the Quannah Junior Rodeo. They had no idea that this would change all our lives! I had the most fun I had ever had, Skip, and I ended up winning a buckle! My parents started taking me to more rodeos than shows, and I loved every minute of it. Now I eat, sleep, breathe, rodeo! Our lives revolve around it, and we would not have it any other way.” Outside of rodeo Colee is on the Childress High School Varsity Golf Team, an active member of the local youth group, and shows swine. Her favorite event changes from time to time, but she would have to say it is goat tying. The adrenaline rush as you run ninety to nothing down the arena and try to tie a little goat with four legs staked on the end of a rope is something she craves to do!

Alanna Pulley

Alanna is a junior from Batesville, Arkansas and is a second year Team Cavender’s member. She competes in barrel racing, which is her favorite event because of the overall community. Enjoying the speed and adrenaline rush from barrel racing, Alanna says, “You compete with yourself each time you run, trying to beat your last time.” In school she is involved with the BETA Club and FBLA. Outside of school she likes to bake, play the guitar, practice for her next rodeo, ride four wheelers around the ranch, and hang out with friends and family. Alanna is a first-generation barrel racer and has loved horses her whole life. She started to compete at small family rodeos and with lots of hard work and practice she went on to bigger rodeos and competitions.

Jacee is a junior from Haskell, Oklahoma who competes in breakaway roping and this will be her second year on Team Cavender’s. She likes to rodeo in her free time and participates in the National Honor Society and Student Council at her school. She also plays volleyball, basketball, and runs track. She got into rodeo because everyone in her family rodeos! Jacee says, “My favorite event is breakaway roping because there’s nothing like the rush of running full speed to a calf and watching the rope break off as my horse slides to a stop.”

Rylie comes from Hillsboro, Texas as a junior joining us for her second year on Team Cavender’s. She competes in breakaway roping, pole bending, and barrel racing. In school, she is involved with NEHS, Student Council, volleyball, basketball, cross country, the CISD Rodeo Team, and the Covington ISD Rodeo Team. Her mom and grandparents got her into rodeo, and she says her favorite event is breakaway roping because, “It’s just myself and my horse, success depends on my hard work and dedication.”

Kash is a junior from Rio Vista, Texas who competes in bareback riding and will be joining us for his second year on Team Cavender’s. Kash is on the Rio Vista Rodeo Team and plays on the Rio Vista Eagle Golf Team. Kash got into rodeo from his dad who also rode bucking horses. When he was little his dad used to take him to rodeos all across Texas. This is where Kash was able to see what it took to be a bareback rider. Bareback riding is his favorite event because of the adrenaline it gives him. He also loves this event because his dad did it!

Audrey "Pinkerton" Bridges

Coming into her third year with Team Cavender’s, Pinkerton is a sophomore from Ravenna, Texas who competes in reined cow horse, cutting, barrels, and breakaway roping! In school, she is involved with her youth group where she helps the worship team. Horses are her life and what she loves to focus on, in her free time she does like to hang out with her friends and train horses. Pinkerton’s parents have always been involved with horses and she has been riding since before she could walk. Her dad was a team roper, her mom shows cow horses, and they love to support her in all the events she likes to do. Her favorite event is reined cow horse because of the excitement of turning a cow going full speed down the fence!

Trevor is a sophomore from Weimar, Texas and this will be his second year on Team Cavender’s. He competes in team roping and tie down roping. Outside of rodeo Trevor loves to hunt, fish, and golf with his friends. In school, he is involved with football, baseball, and golf. His favorite event to compete in is team roping because he has been doing it for so long and he believes it is one of the hardest events to compete in. Trevor says, “Five minds have to line up. Two horses, two people, and a steer.” Trevor got into rodeo from his grandpa and mom starting him on the dummy and riding horses at an incredibly early age. Around 2020, Trevor decided to get competitive with rodeo and has loved every part of it since.

Bentli is an upcoming sophomore from Ada, Oklahoma, and this will be her second year on Team Cavender’s. She competes in barrel racing, pole bending, and breakaway roping. Pole bending is her favorite event because of her horses’ Rodeo and Colonel. She got into rodeo because she is a fourth-generation rodeo competitor and started riding a pony as soon as she could walk. Her school involvement includes track, tennis, National Honor Society, and FCA. Outside of school she likes to play the fiddle and enjoys running and tumbling.

Eli Espy

Hometown: San Antonio, TX

Eli is a freshman from San Antonio, Texas who competes in bareback riding and will be joining us for his first year on Team Cavender’s. He says, “My favorite event is bareback because the adrenaline rush is like no other. I love my rough stock family and spending time with the people I compete with and their parents. Not only do I love riding, I also am a huge fan and enjoy keeping up with all the professional standings.” Eli grew up around the rodeo world and has had a passion for it since he was little. His dad is a horse veterinarian who works with professional stock contractors for the PRCA and is the veterinarian for the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. Eli enjoys fishing in his free time and playing on his school’s soccer and lacrosse team.

Corlee is an incoming freshman from Wills Point, Texas who is joining Team Cavender’s for her first year. She competes in breakaway roping and team roping. Corlee plays on a select basketball team and rides outside horses on the side. She also plays on her school basketball team and is a member of NJHS. Corlee grew up in a rodeo family, watching her dad and brother compete since the day she was born. Breakaway roping is her favorite event to compete in because of the atmosphere and money that has been put into it.
