Cavender’s Special Olympics Paper Torch Campaign

Special Olympic Torches will be available at the check-out counter and can be personalized with the buyer's name or the name of a loved one they want to honor. Paper torches are $1, $5, or $10, and customers can purchase as many as they would like as a tax free donation.

  • Funds raised will go toward providing quality sports competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities throughout Texas and Louisiana.
  • Cavender's has supported this campaign since 2015 and has raised over $230,000 for SOTX.
  • The 2024 campaign is our 10th year in Texas and our 1st year for Louisiana.
  • In 2023, 60 Cavender's stores across TX participated in the campaign. Top stores were San Marcos, Midland, Beaumont, and Houston Gulf Freeway.
