Once your order ships, it may take 24 hours before tracking information appears on the carrier web site.
After you place an online order, you will receive an email with your order information and a link that you may use to determine the current status of your order.
We currently do not ship outside of the US
Items selected to be shipped to your home will be processed as quickly as possible as we want you to get your stuff as quickly as possible. We will update you as your order is processed and ultimately shipped. Please allow some time for the tracking information to appear on the carrier’s site. Additional information below:
- Your payment must be fully processed prior.
- Items you’ve designated to be shipped and placed after 11:00am CST will be processed the following day. All orders placed after 11:00 am CST Friday are processed the next business day, usually on Monday. In the case of Monday holidays (Memorial Day, Labor Day, or other Mondays which coincide with a holiday) orders will be processed the following business day.
- Orders placed on Holidays will be processed the next business day.
Items designated to be shipped will use the rates as shown in the chart below:

- If you are a member of My Cavender’s and are logged in, Economy shipping is FREE. Please note: large items may be excluded and require additional surcharges.
- If you are not a member of My Cavender’s make sure you sign up and are logged into your account. Otherwise, Economy is only FREE on orders $75 and up.
- Economy shipping and returns are FREE for boot purchases. This applies to the original purchase and first return only.

- For items going to AK & HI will incur an additional surcharge as designated in the chart below:

When your order is received, we will send you an email confirmation and begin processing your items as soon as possible. Once processing has been completed you’ll receive a communication letting you know it’s available for pick up or has been shipped.
If adjustments are needed, we may be able to make adjustments. This includes: updating the delivery method, reducing item quantities or cancelations (which hope isn’t needed). If this is needed, please reach out to our Customer Service team through email at or by calling (888) 361-2555.
Shipped Orders:
After processing has been completed you will receive an email letting you know it’s on the way. This email will contain tracking information as well as link a link to track your order. You can also access the order stats page here.
We are currently unable to deliver orders via expedited shipping methods as well as to APO/FPO addresses. For Alaska and Hawaii orders, please allow 8-9 days for delivery. There is also an additional fee which will be added during the checkout/payment process.
In Store Pick-Up:
Once your item(s) are ready for pick up, we will notify you via email. If you selected SMS notification you will also receive a notice via text.
In Store Pick-up items/orders will be available for pick up three days after notification. Once you arrive at your store, go to the checkout counter and let the Cavender’s store associate you are there to pick up an online order. Please have your Order Fulfillment email available to show the associate to pick up your items.
Things to know:
- In Store Pick-up requirements: order pick-up notification email
- Orders will be held for three days after notification
- Alternate person pick-up: you may have someone else pick up your order. They will need to show the order pick-up notification email.
- Curbside: we do not offer curbside pick-up at this time.

We will gladly accept your returns for exchange or credit within 30 days of purchase. Merchandise must be in as-new condition (tags, packaging intact, unwashed, unworn).

Please be sure to include a copy of your packing slip, email order confirmation, or a printed copy of your order inside the package. Your online order should have also included a pre-printed return label for you to use.

Print out our UPS return label using the button below. Unless you are returning footwear, an $8.99 charge will be deducted from your refund.

If there is a Cavender's retail store near you, you may return your online purchase to the store for exchange or refund. You must take a printed copy of your order to the store along with your merchandise. Click here to view your order history.

Your credit card will be charged when your order is shipped. Confirmation will be sent via email.
Yes, physical gift cards and e-gifts cards can be used for payment online and in all Cavender's store locations.
