NOT WATERPROOF
I’ve had these boots for about 3 weeks now. I work in the water well business so I’m around water all day.

Quality is in the name Georgia Boot
After retiring from the Fire Service 4 years ago I didn't think I would have a need or wear Georgia Boots again. But 2 years ago I went back to work driving a fuel truck. I visited 4 stores before finding a local boot store that carries Georgia Boots and boy was I happy to find them. Steel toes are required by my employer and comfort is required by me. I found both with these Boots. I know I'm going to enjoy years of quality service from these Boots as I did wearing Georgia Boots in my 35 years of Fire Service. Thank you for still making a great product.

Good all around boot
I'm a heavy equipment salesman and I've worn these boots from logging jobs to dirt pits every day for the last two years and they're still in tact minus the rubber starting to crack on the soles. No complaints with the miles I've gotten out of them. Only downside to these boots is they are not truly waterproof. Your feet will be damp after wearing them too long in wet weather.

Durability is awful
Bought the first pair and second time I wore them the sole tore off of the back. I sent that pair back and got the same pair again. The first day on the job site the sole started to rip off of the side of the boot. Do not recommend if you are going to work in this pair of boots.

Don't last
I'm a huge fan of GA boots. But with that being said the Athens boots slip ons, are far most the worse made boots I've own. The look great, feel great, but three pairs now, and all three have came apart at the sole.

Comfortable but not durable
I bought my pair three months ago from Hunter’s Refuge. They’ve been very comfortable and my feet stay dry but the toes are already worn out and gone. Paid close to 200$ after tax for three months of wear. My Justin’s I bought for 130$ lasted a year in the same punishing work. Will not buy again.

Was never waterproof and wore out quickly
I bought these a few months ago and after maybe a month the inserts tore up and they were advertised as waterproof but the first time they ever stepped in water they leaked all in the shoe and 2 weeks ago the liner in the shin area of the boot wore out to where my heels get stuck trying to take them off. I had a pair before these and i had the same issue with waterproofing but they lasted way longer than these, shows the downhill trend quality of this brand, will not be buying from Georgia boot again unless quality improves because i have plenty of people that have bought boots from this company that fall apart within a few months.

Comfortable, BUT!
Have these as well as the lace up ones. Both are comfortable, but have leaked from day one. Feet get wet walking through wet grass (no joke. Purchased because they were advertised as “waterproof” and was a good looking boot, kept them because they were comfortable. So, if you are looking for a waterproof boot do not get these.
